Derek Didrikson currently studies at Algonquin College in the Pre-Animation/Illustration program. Here’s a glimpse of his drawings. In this assignment the students were asked to reposition a character known as Wendy. She needed to be in interesting action poses while keeping her on model. Just like Mickey Mouse always looks like Mickey Mouse, Derek had to make this Wendy character always looking same. Take a look at how the legs, arms, body, head and hands are always the same size in relation to each other.
